7 Steps for Improving Communication Between Spouses

Bismillah

It has been a busy week around here, as the final preparations for my most recent program with DiscoverU were taking place “Back to Square One – 7 Steps for Improving Communication Between Spouses.” Shared between myself and Coach Zeyad Ramadan, and hosted by our amazing Coach and radio show host from South Africa, Coach Fatima Asmal, we dived into the subject of communication between spouses.

The program was for DiscoverU members only, plus 4 guests. DiscoverU offers tele-classes, webcasts, and webinars on a regular basis for our DiscoverU community members.  I will share the link with all of you so you can benefit, insha’Allah. It will be up for a short time, so don’t delay checking it out.

This program is also about to be launched as a live workshop. To bring it to your community, email me at megan@discoverulife.com

Live workshops are more powerful, and offer audience members an added dimension of experiential learning, direct interaction with the material, and direct coaching through the live examples present.

I know that many of you are active in your communities and are always looking for ways to bring benefit to those in your local area, so this would be a wonderful way for you to share a unique opportunity with them, and we will reward those of you who help us reach others, as your time is precious too. So, again, email me for details. We look forward to hearing from you 🙂

  1. Excellent webcast Coach Megan and Coach Zeyad!

Back to Square One is packed with great ideas, like the part about raising the standards and giving without the expectation of receiving. Let’s face it, when we give, we expect to cash in on our investment at some point (we usually keep track/score in our head and establish some imaginary deadline in which we expect to be reciprocated).

I once learned that the best sadaqa is the one in which you give and then immediately forget that you’ve done a ‘good deed’. (i.e. give without expecting return)

So, my action item is to raise the standards in my relationships by giving without expecting anything in return (truly!).

    Jazak Allah Khair Coaches!
